Cool!!!

Voll cool Note 1 fünf

Great Game, but repetitive

Dont get me wrong, it is a pretty good game, but it gets really repetitive after a while. There are only a few ship types available to the player and not enough variety in the upgrades. It feels more like a beta version than a full polished release. The graphics are pretty good, as a plus. After the plot ends, it takes a very long time to earn enough money to get the higher end upgrades; an when you do, it doesnt look like there will be any enemies that will match your power. They need to lower the prices of the existing weapons (a lot) and add another 5-10 tiers of upgrades, enemies, and player ships. SIZE IS NOT A CONCERN! If you made the game great, no one would want to delete it anyways, no matter the size. One last thing; the accelerometer controls need quite a bit of work; you cant even turn upwards correctly without tilting your device like crazy. That said, the plot is okay, and I always like games with an upgrade system. Upgradeable ships is nice, too; but you need adjustable speed, maybe incorporating a slider. That way the acceleration speed could be added into the game, giving a bit more variety in ships. Weapon load outs could be improved slightly as well. Bottom line, not worth $2.99, maybe $1.99. Good game.

good game

I just have one problem: HOW THE HECK DO YOU DODGE ENEMY FIRE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Im stuck on the 4th mission (the one were you have to destroy enemy escort/ cargo ships) Im like TRYING to fire on a vossk plane (oh and another problem the machine guns are SO FRICKIN HARD to aim and shoot and WHY are the other planes you get to buy are so expensive?! I need missles NOW!) and some DONKEY (not literaly) starts firing at me and their guns do heckuva damage and Im like : "GET OFF MY BACK CANT YOU SEE THAT IM FIRING AT YOUR COMRADE?!Wait a sec.........now I get it you dont want me to fire at him.....TOO BAD!! *continues to fire*" Vossk:*fires at me* Me:*dies* "aww crud he killed me" so if you guys have any tips/tricks on how to dodge enemy fire please tell me in a review. please n thank you. hee hee 

...

Okay... But needs more to it. Could be an awsome game, with mire stuff!

@Khfan

Treat all enemy fighters like theyre air combat veterans from the gulf war. They know how to shoot ahead of you so the fire will hit you instead of behind you. My advice is use boost. Activate it and run away. Halfway througth the boost, turn around to get behind the enemy and auto fire your guns. Follow the red plus sign, NOT THE BOX. If your attacking one enemy and your getting hit my another/ multiple enemies, do a steep dive then point your nose back at your target. If you dont like my strategy, just lower the game difficulty in settings, LOL

Great But...

A great game, reminds me of freelancer however I find its extremely glitchy running on my 3G. I dont recommend downloading this if you have an iPhone 3G simply due to the glitchiness, for everyone else? Download immediatly.

Nice game

Its fun and the graphics r great btw it is like freelancer

Uh oh

Galaxy fire 2 is probably gonna have all the good stuff and has a high probability of being a paid app :( 

Excellent great first step

This game is exactly what Ive been waiting for. There is no other game out there like this, great execution of the concept. It gets a bit repetitive and I wish there was more of a story line, quests interweaved and more of a RPG aspect to the game. Keep it up!!

Wicked

Great game. awesome graphics, only wish is for more levels cause its really addictive. 5 stars!

Not so good

Dont listen to those who said its addictive: after the first 15 missions, its the same thing again and again. Theres no variety in the choice of missions, you fly in space for 5 minutes, nothing to do. Dont buy it.

Great

Stick it out till you get a better ship, and it becomes a lot more fun.

TEH EPICS

Hooray! 100th review! This game is the exact opposite of my last review! (Which was for dreamtime racer.) If you like weapons, space and anything out of sci-fi films, you will like this game! I do agree that it is repetitive in the missions. But when you get the wratih ship with nemesis thermos and a missile you will rack up credits like theres no tomorrow! It is kind of dumb how your loyalty converts so fast when at a Vossk station. I give this four stars because it is well designed and addicting. But there should be a wider variety of things in the game. Bai!

iFreelancer

Basically the same as an old PC game called Freelancer. Just as good though, and a great game to pass the time. Perhaps you could make GOF2 free for a while too? ;)

Poor Controls

Very poor control. Uninstalled after 5 minutes.

Love It

But come on 7$ for fof2. I cant believe people will by that.

Meh.

I got GoF2 before this because of recommendations from my friends. This game is not bad in general but HORRIBLE compared to its sequel. The second one has out-of-the-world graphics and more room for exploration. AND you dont have to wander around space for 5 minutes to get somewhere after you have reached a certain point of the game. That 7 dollars Is well worth your money trust me, and those awesome reviews. They should delete the lite version of this and make this free.

Amazing, Get it!

Wow, this is easily one of the best space sim games I have played for the iPod touch yet! Just like Freespace, and Wing Commander! Id get it, even if it isnt free!

Good game. Needs a few perks though.

Great concept, great graphics, music and design. But whats the point in all that exploration if its all the same other than trying to find the other ships to buy and better weapons? More trading like bartering, buying and selling. Maybe a stop of interest at each port. Missions where you travel to the other destinations. More story line. A great start guys, definitely a sweet game, just a few perks wouldve made it that much more. But still a great job. Koodos.
